Architectural and Engineering for Improvements to the National Grid Control Center in Liverpool, NY.
Improvements were made to one of three buildings in the site’s complex, Building #3, which is roughly 81,000 SF in size. The services provided included architectural and engineering design, bidding support, and construction administration. Work was in the service energy control center as well as the emergency storm room, and Gas Operations Dispatch area. Work also included upgrades for ADA accessibility, restrooms; lighting, new lobby configuration, carpet replacement through the majority of the building, new wall finishes, conference room upgrades, and kitchenette. Project management included high level coordination with operations groups and a great deal of phasing for contractor access.
