Exterior Lighting Upgrade for Historic Building in Syracuse
Professional services were provided for the upgrade of the exterior lighting system at the historic downtown National Grid building on Erie Boulevard. This project encompassed relamping of the iconic Art Deco Niagara Mohawk Building in downtown Syracuse. LED lighting replaced the more than 800 aging incandescent lamps bringing this famous element of the Syracuse skyline into the modern age.
The 150 plus count RGBA LED strip fixtures illuminate the ornate tower structure through its historic Stueben glass panels, generating an pallet of vivid colors never before seen in the city. The state of the art computer system allows full control of color, intensity, and sequencing, creating any combination of moving and static colors to signify holidays and special events, creating an impressive ambiance.
